Scones

I am sorry, again, it has been so long since I have posted.  I have been baking, cooking, crafting and working!  I have about 10 posts planned soon!

For some reason, Sundays just make me want to bake.  I baked about 4 different types of cookies today!  So, here is one of the first sweet treats I made today:

Oatmeal-Chocolate Scones



3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup firmly packed dark brown sugar
1 6oz container plain Greek yogurt
1 1/2 cup quick cooking oats
1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 chopped dark chocolate

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.  Cream together sugars and yogurt.  Gradually add oats and flour.  Stir until well mixed.  Add salt, baking soda, cinnamon and chocolate.

Drop mixture onto greased or nonstick baking sheet.  Bake 12 minutes.  *These are not cookies and will not expand.  You can put them close together.  If you want the scones to be flat or cookie-like, lightly smash with a fork.
